RR-Lyrae-type pulsations from a 0.26-solar-mass star in a binary system
The pulsating star OGLE-BLG-RRLYR-02792 is known to be a member of an eclipsing binary system
,
and
its mass is now determined to be only 0.26 times that of the Sun
,
meaning that it cannot be a classical RR Lyrae pulsator.
