African Physicists Set Their Sights on Mammoth Scope- Science - Volume: 327, Issue: 5964
- On the minds of many at a meeting last week in the Senegalese capital was the Square Kilometre Array, a next-generation radio telescope that will probe gas clouds in the early universe with a collecting area 100 times that of the Very Large Array in Socorro, New Mexico. It is planned to be built in either Africa or Australia.
